What is it?
A helluva good time, a pirate party extraordinaire, a reason to dress piratical,
and a great way to celebrate International Talk Like A Pirate Day!
Why is it?
The Buccaneer Bash was conceived as a way to raise money for the Sunken Bones Society,
a 501(c)-3 PENDING non-profit dedicated to preserving and promoting causes related to the
Great Age of Sail. Pirates and parrots, tall ships, wrecks and maritime history
are our passion, and the Society is dedicated to raising awareness and money to
help preserve them.

How does the "Group Rate" work?
To get the group rate, you need to have 10 or more scallywags signin' up all at once.
Rather than pre-registering through the site, you will send bulk payment (if you're
pre-registering) or provide payment in full for the entire group at the door. Ye'll
also need to provide a list o' the member's names who be paid for. At that point,
any member o' yer group can come t'the door and let the door crew know that they
are 'pre-paid', an' with which group.
What should you wear?
Wear whatever piratical attire ya have. There -is- a pirate costume contest, so
the more piratical ya get, the better. If ya don't have pirate attire, just
wrap a scarf around yer 'head and call it good -- everyone is welcome!
What will happen there?
LOTS! But here's a breakdown of the highlights:

Shanty and renn tunes t'yer heart's content!, as well as video shorts of a piratical nature. Yes,
some o' the best from last year will be makin' a repeat performance. Yarr!
Contests
Table Decoration Contest - Get a crew together and take over one of the tables, and decorate it however ya like. Prizes will be given t'the crew with the 'winning' table.
Costume Contest - Got some great piratical threads? Wear 'em in style? Enter the Port Royale Costume Contest and show 'em what yer got!
Trivia! - Test yer piratical knowledge and win prizes!
Auction
The charity auction will be offering prizes donated by our vendors, as well as more autographed PotC framed photos, and more!
Shanghai Crew
Got a beef with yer mate? Pay a doubloon t'the Shanghai crew and have 'em slapped in irons and
carted off t'the brig! Be wary, tho... they might bribe the Boys t'come back at you!
